Office of the President/CEO
Jeffrey Alderman (email@example.com), President/CEO, joined ACBSP in February 2015 coming from the Kansas City Kansas Chamber of Commerce. In addition to his work at the Chamber, Jeff brings an extensive background in association management including serving as executive director of the Kansas Bar Association, the Camden County (N.J.) Bar Association and was the assistant executive director of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association. He also served as vice president for Visit Topeka, a destination marketing organization. Steve Parscale, Ph.D. (firstname.lastname@example.org), Chief Accreditation Officer, joined ACBSP in 2004. Steve has a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Management from Northcentral University in Prescott, Arizona. He also has a Master of Science in Management degree and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management degree from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas. Steve has two associate degrees -- an Associate of Applied Science degree from Butler Community College and an Associate of Applied Science degree from the Community College of the Air Force. Cari Hunziker (email@example.com), Accreditation Coordinator, joined ACBSP in February 2015. She previously worked as a customer service representative/social media manager for www.sidebysidestuff.com. Born and raised in Fort Scott, Kansas, she now lives in Drexel, Missouri with her husband and two elementary age children and is heavily involved in their activities. She is the Vice President of the Drexel Public School Foundation, which raises funds and helps to provide scholarships and teacher grants for supplies not provided by the district. In her spare time she enjoys running and weight lifting, as well as traveling with family and friends.
Latin American Operations
Wilfredo Giraldo, Ph.D (firstname.lastname@example.org), Director of Latin American Operations, joined ACBSP in September 2013, and is based in Lima, Peru. Giraldo studied Industrial Engineering at the National University of Engineering. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Applied Science Peruvian University Business School and a Ph.D. in Accounting and Finance from the Graduated School of San Martin de Porres University, Lima, Peru. Emil Gjorgov, Ph.D. (email@example.com), Director of European Operations, joined ACBSP in October 2016, and is based in Brussels, Belgium. Emil brings extensive knowledge and practical application attained through national and regional accrediting bodies in the US, including governmental and nongovernmental bodies in Europe. Emil is an experienced international program coordinator, trainer and evaluator in numerous fields of education, with an exceptional ability to implement international standards such as the Bologna Declaration for Higher Education in EHEA, Baldridge Criteria for Quality Standards, European Association for Quality Assurance Standards in Higher Ed.
Peng Yan (Patty) (firstname.lastname@example.org), Director of Chinese Operations, joined ACBSP in 2016, and is based in Beijing, China. Patty is a PhD student in Management Philosophy at Beijing Normal University. She also has Master of Philosophy in Molecular biology and BSc in Biology from Beijing Normal University. Patty brings her intelligence and international education working experiences to ACBSP operations within China. Prior to joining ACBSP, she had worked in senior marketing, operations, and business development positions at several academic institutions, including University of Hertfordshire, Kings College, and Northern University Consortium. She is able to adjust herself into different roles as well as aiming to achieve prosperous outcomes.
Mary Riley (email@example.com), Director of Administration, joined ACBSP in October 2002. Born and raised in Kansas was previously employed with Coca-Cola Fountain Sales as the Assistant to the Comptroller. Mary is currently working on her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and will continue with a Human Resources degree.
Melinda Dorning (firstname.lastname@example.org), Director of Marketing & Communications, joined ACBSP in October 2008. Melinda has lived in the Kansas City area for 13 years, having come from Birmingham, Ala. where she was born and raised. While in Birmingham, Melinda was
Carmen Hayes (email@example.com), Director, Member Services, joined ACBSP as its Member Services Manager in April 2015. She comes to the organization with more than 15 years’ experience in the banking industry as well as work within the non-profit sector. She most recently served as a Client Relationship Manager at UMB Bank. Her educational background is in Bilingual Education and she is presently working on a degree in business administration. Sherry Jean Williams (firstname.lastname@example.org), Senior Coordinator, Administration, joined ACBSP in October 2004. Previously, she worked as an Executive/Administrative Assistant for HomePride Finance/CIT Group Sales Financing, Inc., for 22 years. Sherry, whose nickname is Peaches, was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She has one brother and five sisters. In her spare time, Sherry enjoys watching movies and hanging out with family and friends.
Giles Rafol (email@example.com), IT Systems Administrator, joined ACBSP in September 2005 as the Member Services Manager. Giles was born in Chicago, Illinois, and was raised in the suburbs of Kansas City, Missouri. He is currently attending the Metropolitan Community Colleges of Kansas City, pursuing an Associates in Arts. His interests lie in web design and development, collaborative web systems, and other emerging technologies. In addition, he's an avid PC gamer, traveler, and self-professed "news junkie."
Danielle Henderson (firstname.lastname@example.org), Conference and Meeting Services Coordinator, joined ACBSP in December 2015. She received her Bachelors of Science degree from Missouri State University in the area of Management with an emphasis in International Business Administration. Danielle also brings to the company almost 15 years of event planning and coordination experience. She has planned events for an independent school as well as corporate and non-profit companies. Danielle is also a partner with "A Special Occasion, LLC" which is a wedding and event planning company started in 2007.
Danielle Harter (email@example.com), Member Services Coordinator, joined ACBSP in April 2017. She is passionate about helping others and most recently worked at The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States (VFW) as a Donor Services Coordinator. In addition to work within the non-profit sector, she has more than 2 years’ experience in the banking industry having worked as a bank teller at both UMB Bank and Bank of the West. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration from ACBSP-accredited Park University School of Business. She has volunteered for many charitable organizations over the years, and is currently involved in Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City. In her spare time, she enjoys going to concerts, traveling, watching movies, and hanging out with her friends and cat, Nelson.
Hallie Weber (firstname.lastname@example.org), Accounting Assistant, joined ACBSP in January 2018. She is currently a junior at MidAmerica Nazarene University and is planning to graduate with a B.A. in Accounting next spring. She was born in Ohio and moved with her family to the Kansas City area in 2009. Hallie enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends, running, watching baseball, and reading.
